Well as Kiru just said you can really already do this easily. Just stand at the start while your team finishes the entire mission or runs to the next town or whatever.

I think this is a great idea!

For PvE, it would have to be combined with the "ask party leader to rejoin" or the "team votes to allow you to rejoin" feature too, but in PvP noone has the time to vote and you should just pop back in, dead at whereever you logged out.

With the kickvote, I can explain how it works in Quake 3, and with a big community (ok, 2 or 3 years ago, but it was big) I think things could be simmilar:

There's a /callvote command that allows you to make lots of votes. To the one in the thread:

/callvote kick "player": there was necessary 50%+1 to kick the player

Ok, there were some unfair kicks, but in the majority of cases, it was ok, to kick a player that was cheating, insulting, dont moving, etc. I've played for roughly 500hours of Quake 3 online, and as I can remember, very few times got kicked unfairly.

I think we should trust people a bit. There always be some brats that kick you without a good reason, but for that 1 time, could be 10, 20, 100 times that the kick is reasonable.

The same can be adapted to /callvote invite/rejoin/whatever
